Cho đường trộn đều với bột quế trong một cái bát. Bánh mì bạn chọn loại nào cũng đều được. Bánh có thể cũ hay mới cũng đều được. Dùng chai xịt nước lên 2 mặt bánh mì.

Bánh mì vừa xịt nước xong, bạn đem tẩm với đường quế. Xếp bánh mì lên khay nướng và nướng ở 220 độ F trong 45 phút. Lấy bánh ra, trở mặt rồi nướng thêm 45-75 phút nữa.
